This simple recipe comes from my buddy Kelly's godmother, Jean. Kelly admits: "Honestly, though it is a 'side dish,' I could just eat a giant bowl of these alone and be content." Give them a try this week!
- 4 oz small mushrooms, whole, cleaned
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 to whole envelope Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix (dry)
Steps:
- In a skillet, melt the butter on low heat.
- Add mushrooms; stir to coat.
- Sprinkle with dressing mix.
- Stir occasionally for about 45 minutes.
