Thanks to the Kitchn, I recently learned a faster, less messy way to chop herbs. All you need is a wide-mouthed glass and a pair of kitchen scissors! I've experimented with this technique a few times, and I've found that tough herbs like rosemary and sage work best with this technique. It's saved me a lot of prep time already!

    I admit, sometimes I avoid fresh herbs because I'm not up for it being such a pain in the ass to chop.

    This is an excellent idea.
