This simple recipe comes from my buddy Kelly's godmother, Jean. Kelly admits: "Honestly, though it is a 'side dish,' I could just eat a giant bowl of these alone and be content." Give them a try this week!
You will need:
4 oz small mushrooms, whole, cleaned
1/2 stick butter
1/2 to whole envelope Good Seasons Italian Dressing mix (dry)
In a skillet, melt the butter on low heat.
Add mushrooms; stir to coat.
Sprinkle with dressing mix.
Stir occasionally for about 45 minutes.
